Dirty Old Songs:

Here to prove the past wasn't so prudish, Wilhelmina Weeds will take you on a musical tour with some of the sauciest songs from the history of blues music. This burlesque chanteuse will sing some songs, share their stories, and raise a toast to the risque bits of the jazz age. Ms. Weeds is a burlesque darling from Pōneke, Wellington and has been performing around Aotearoa since 2011. She's a multi-talented, award winning instrumentalist with a voice like whiskey and curves like a country road. You can find her most weekends either backstage or onstage in the various cabaret shows of Pōneke, or playing blues music with other local mischief makers.

The Dancing and Drinking Society:

A quartet of top-notch trouble, there's no band that knows how to throw a prohibition party like the Dancing and Drinking Society. For more than a decade they've dedicated themselves to keeping the dance floors of Wellington jumping. From down-and-dirty dive bars to high-class soirées they have one goal: to keep your feet shuffling, your drink topped up, and your troubles on hold - at least until the last note fades.
